SAN FRANCISCO, CA. October 1, 2002. As part of the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, 2002, the third annual Gardens Ghoullery Walk will be held on Sunday October 27, 2002 from 12 noon to 4 pm. The event is sponsored by Yerba Buena Arts & Events.
This free event for little ghouls and bouys and their families invites children under ten and their families to dress in their favorite costumes and parade around the Rooftop Gardens. Organizations in the surrounding area including Zeum, the Yerba Buena Ice Skating Rink and Bowling Center and Mo's Grill will provide free treats for trick-or-treaters in costume. Strolling musicians, jugglers, stilt-walkers and clowns will provide ongoing entertainment throughout the day. Some will be dressed as witches, goblins, ghouls and other Halloween characters.
The Children's Center Rooftop Gardens are located near Zeum. The entrance to this area is from 4th and Howard Streets near the Carousel.
The program of free public performances and events at Yerba Buena Gardens is made possible through the generous support of Metreon-A-Sony Entertainment Center, the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, the San Francisco Marriott, KTB Management Group, and other sponsors.
